Professional Profile: Neil has been working in the upstream energy industry for over 26 years, having held a variety of positions from research geochemist to asset exploration management roles in Shell, BG Group and Hess. He has worked in a number of different countries, including The Netherlands, Oman, Australia, China, Russia and Mexico, where he has undertaken technical exploration roles and negotiated significant new deals. Neil has also led Shell’s innovation portfolio (“GameChanger”), which yielded a number of significant new technology and business advances for both proprietary application and commercialisation. Neil was President of the Petroleum Exploration Society of Great Britain (2017-2019) and subsequently founded the “Exploring the Energy Transition” special interest group. He is an active Trustee and Company Secretary for The Etches Collection (a museum of Jurassic marine life on the south coast of Dorset).

Previously Eric built and led several DXC’s teams where he has supported clients in their Digital Transformations by building and deploying digital roadmaps and blueprints with clients, such as E.ON. Prior to that role at DXC, Eric has held a similar role in the Global Strategic Growth team, leading complex, large and strategic pursuits. Assistant Vice President and Market Lead for Cognizant Business Process Services for Banking, Financial Services and Insurance clients across Continental Europe, working with clients, industry and country teams to solve client challenges, generate revenue growth and create a portfolio of business process services for financial institutions in Europe. He has been responsible for selling strategic outsourcing engagements to major clients in the Benelux and Nordics. Eric received several awards and nominations for his sales activities.
Eric earned a master’s degree in computer science from the Delft University of Technology and completed the Young Management Programme at the University of Nijenrode. Is an active supporter of European integration, and has held various functions in European associations. He has worked all across Europe.
Together with his wife and two sons, he lives in Berkel en Rodenrijs, the Netherlands. In his free time, Eric likes to read, cook, play and coach handball, and drive old Italian cars.

John commenced his commercial management career after ten years working within the oil & gas industry in exploration geologist and technical consultant roles. Professional Profile: Eduardo De Mulder is a geologist and throughout his professional career he has been employed by the Geological Survey of the Netherlands (TNO) in various positions, from field geologist to manager of the Sustainable Management of the Subsurface business unit. He was Professor at Delft Technical University. Internationally, de Mulder has been President of the International Union of Geological Sciences, initiator and Executive Director of the UN proclaimed International Year of Planet Earth, and the Director of the Earth Science Matters Foundation. He has published 135 scientific publications and books. He is Springer’s editor of the World Regional Geography Series.
